Tour Summary

It is truly a wonderful experience to witness the magnificent Gray Whales in their natural environment of the amazing waters of the Sea of Cortez. If you are visiting the vacation wonderland of Cabo San Lucas, do not miss your chance to go whale watching with the friendly and accommodating crew of the Caborey. The difference between a tour on the Caborey and other whale watch vessels is easily summed up in one word: comfort. If you become a little too warm, relax and cool off on one of our air-conditioned decks. If you need to use the restrooms, we have standard on-board facilities. If you need a drink, we have an open bar, filled with beer, soda, bottled water, and tropical cocktails, on every deck. If you get hungry, we offer an array of delicious international appetizers, including fresh sushi from the local waters, chicken wings, shish kebabs, and more. You wont find these amenities on a cramped zodiac or a small sailboat. The English-speaking crew of the Caborey will do their best to provide you with an entertaining and safe whale watching excursion.

The main attractions on this fantastic sightseeing cruise are the whales. Every January, the mammoth Gray Whales arrive in the waters surrounding Cabo San Lucas after travelling down the coastline of North America from the cold waters off Alaska. You have the chance to witness these amazing creatures during whale watching season, from January though the close of March. These incredible cetaceans migrate to the Sea of Cortez and coastal bays of Baja to mate, give birth, and nurse. You may even spot a mother Gray with her newborn calf in tow.

I have been to the Bahamas many times, but Caborey Whale Watching Tour is one of my favorite trips! It includes everything that everyone should do here. As a Bahamas veteran, I can say only the best about this experience!

Thanks to the professional guides! I was a bit worried about kayaking because I had never done it before, but the instructions were great and I had such a good time!
